Wake County Speedway Roars Into Action This Friday Night July 11th, 2014

Wake County Speedway is back in action this coming Friday night,July 11. 2014. America’s Favorite Bullring has another action packed evening planned with 6 feature races and 6 divisions headlining the evening. The Metal Depot Late Model stars will run twin 30 lap events with the Pepsi/Mountain Dew Kick Start UCAR/ 4 Cylinder warriors running a 25 lap feature event. The Legend cars will run a 25 lap feature and the Bandoleros will compete in a 15 lap feature event. The mighty Pro Four Modified cars are running a 25 lap feature to complete the evening of up close, in your face racing excitement!

The Metal Depot Late Model drivers have been putting on great shows all season long and with the announcement of the Mid Atlantic Late Model Championship “Shootout” paying $20,000 to win on November 7-8,2014 look for drivers from Fl. to Me. getting seat time to prepare for the “Big Money” event! Goldsboro’s Clay Jones leads Knightdale speedster Bradley McCaskill in the point standings.

Multi-time track champion Dennis Capps, Garner leads Brandon Baker, Roxboro in the Pro 4 Modified division. The Pepsi/ Mt.Dew Kickstart leader in 4 cylinders is Raleigh’s Jeremy Ottaway over Sanford driver Justin Fussell; the UCAR leader in points, Dwayne Godwin, Wendell leads Patrick Arch, Clayton. Dillon Spain, Clayton leads Jason Austin in the Legends division.

Wake County Speedway is located at 2109 Simpkins Rd. in Raleigh,N.C.. The Pits open at 5:00pm with the Grandstands opening at 6:00pm.
