The New Wake County Speedway is proud to present the Metal Depots Limited Late Model event on June 13th

The late model feature event is paying $2000 to win the 100 lap race with a $1000 halfway bonus, and a $100 Pole award for a possible $3100!!
(Must run a minimum of 3 previous races to qualify)

If you have not run 3 races at The New Wake County Speedway this year, don’t sweat it, you are still eligible for $1000 to win, $500 halfway bonus, and a $100 pole award for a grand total of $1600!

That’s not all, other racing action scheduled for the evening is a 20 lap Legends feature, 25 lap Pepsi-Kickstart 4Cylinder/UCAR combo feature, 15 lap Bandolero feature, and the return of the MOD 4s running hard around the bullring for 25 laps!

**Note: Some early versions of the WCS schedule had twin Legends races scheduled for June13th, this event is a single Legends feature for 20 laps**

Wide Open This Friday Night At Wake County Speedway

The finest stars and cars of the Tri-State region will roar into Raleigh,N.C. Friday night at Wake County Speedway. Six divisions running six action packed features will highlight the evening. The Metal Depot Late Models run twin 30 lap events. The Pepsi/ Mt. Dew Kick Start Mini-Mayhem UCAR/ 4 Cylinders combo event will throw down for 25 laps of up close, in your face racing excitement. The Legends feature will run 25 laps, the Bandoleros will run 15 laps and the Bombers will run 20 laps.

America’s Favorite Bullring News and Notes: The point leaders coming into this Friday evening in the highly competitive season shows Clay Jones from Goldsboro leading Bradley McCaskill, Knightdale and Cory Walker, Fuquay-Varina in the Metal Depot Late Models. Dennis “The Dominator” Capps, Garner leads the Mod 4 standings.The Pepsi/ Mt. Dew Kick Start Mini- Mayhem leader is Raleigh’s Jeremy Ottaway over Justin Fussell, Sanford in 4 cylinders and Patrick Arch, Clayton leads Dwayne Godwin, Wendell and Jim Bounds, Raleigh in the UCAR division. Dillon Spain, Clayton is your leader in the Legends division followed by Will Bristle and Jason Austin. The Bandoleros division is lead by Kade Lambert, Bradley Wilson.Hugh events coming soon: 100 laps for the Metal Depot Late Models on June 15,2014.If drivers aren’t qualified $1000.00 to win;$500.00 halfway bonus, if qualified “Big Money” to the victor! Clay Jones Wins At America’s Favorite Bullring: Wake County Speedway

The weather was cool last night but the action on the track was red hot at Wake County Speedway. Goldsboro speedster Clay Jones picked up another win on the season in the Metal Depot Late Model 50 lap feature. Jeremy Ottaway, Raleigh and Patrick Arch, Clayton were victory lane bound in the 25 lap UCAR/ 4 Cylinder Pepsi Kick Start Mini-Mayhem feature. Dillon Spain, Clayton won both 20 lap Legend features with Bandolero features winners Austin Janocha and Kade Lambert. Dennis “The Dominator” Capps,Garner was the Modified 4 Cylinder winner.

Clay Jones,Goldsboro started shotgun on the field in last night’s 50 lap Metal Depot Late Model event and drove through the field in his Pro Coating LM to secure another trip to victory lane. Jones fought hard in the hotly contested event with Raleigh’s Bradley McCaskill; rubbing and racing hard at America’s Favorite Bullring. Jones thanked his crew, his family, friends and fans from victory lane. Garner driver Alex Fleming finished in 2nd place followed by Bobby Gower and McCaskill with Dillon Wilson rounding out the top 5 finishers.

Twin Bandolero features produced 2 different victory lane celebrations.In the evenings 1st event Austin Janocha was your victor followed under the waving checkered flag by Kade Lambert, Bradley Wilson, Ethan Johnson and Dustin Yeoman. The 2nd feature event winner was Kade who held off Austin, Bradley, Dustin and Henry Broadbent.

The Legend drivers also ran twin features last night with Dillon Spain grabbing the “W” in both events. Spain held off Will Bristle, Jason Austin, Zack Brown and Caleb Day in the opening feature. The nightcap feature top five were Spain, Bristle, Austin, Day and Brenton Irving.

The first 2014 appearance of the Modified 4 Cylinder class had a familiar face in victory lane. Multi-time track champ Dennis “The Dominator” Capps, Garner had his Cleveland Draft Ford Fusion in the wind last night. Keith Oliver came home in 2nd place followed by Brandon Baker, Matthew Denton and A.J. Saunders.All results are unoffical pending tech results.

Jeremy Ottaway, Raleigh has run great all season;he just needed to attend a wedding to seal the victory. The UCAR/ 4 Cylinder Pepsi Kick Start Mini-Mayhem feature winner also started shotgun on the field and roared to victory in the 25 lap feature event. Ottaway held off Justin Fussell,Apex, A.J. Saunders , Jessie Richardson,Knightdale and Michael Tucker. Patrick Arch, Clayton was your winner in the UCARS over Kristin Gault,Raleigh, Jim Bounds, Dwayne Godwin and Dallas Stephenson.

Seven action packed features including the return of the Mighty Pro 4 Modified division highlight this weekend’s show at Wake County Speedway. America’s Favorite Bullring will be running the Metal Depot Late Models in a 50 lap feature event. The Pepsi/ Mt. Dew Kick-Start UCAR/ 4 Cylinder Mini Mayhem combo stars and cars will run 25 laps as will the Mighty Pro 4 Modifieds. Twin 20 lap feature events for the Legends plus Twin 15 lap features for the Cooper Bandoleros will round out the evenings events.

News and Notes from pits: Summertime is still a few weeks away but the action on the track is hot and heavy in the Metal Depot Late Model Division. Goldsboro speedster Clay Jones is your points leader and he will look to keep his winning streak going in the highly competitive division. Jeremy Ottaway,Raleigh is leading the points in the 4 Cylinder mini mayhem division with Patrick Arch,Clayton leading the UCAR points race. Dillon Spain,Clayton is your leader in the Legends class with Kade Lambert leading the Cooper Bandelero divison.

Bandoleros and Bombers will all battle at America’s Favorite Bullring.

The Knightdale speedster, Andrew Grady has started off the 2014 racing season red hot; winning 4 out of 5 races to open the season. Grady will look to continue his winning ways in the highly competitive Metal Depot Late Model division in his ABC Hoisery Hotrod where car counts have been over 20 cars strong. Twin 30 lap features are scheduled for Friday evening.

The Pepsi Kick Start UCAR/4 Cylinder Mini Stock combo event is 25 laps of up close, in your face racing excitement and A.J.Saunders in the 4 cylinders and Patrick Arch in the UCARS will once again put on a show for the fans. 25 cars competed in the feature on opening night and these warriors put on a great show last time out before mother nature pulled the plug early. Jeremy Ottaway and his father have their Mustang running well and will be a threat to win as well.

Dillon Spain leads a hungry group of veterans and young guns in the Legends division which will run a 25 lap feature event. The popular Bandolero division young lions will compete in a 15 lap feature event. The newest division at Wake County Speedway, the Bombers will compete in a 20 lap feature.
