Aviator Brewery Late Model Double Vision 155 At Wake County Speedway This Friday Night

The finest stars and cars of the tri-state region will roar into the New Wake County Speedway this Friday evening for the Aviator Brewery Late Model Double Vision 155. Six classes/ six feature events are ready to entertain as the action on the track has really heated up!

The Aviator Brewery Late Models will run twin 30 lap features; the Mountain Dew Kick Start Modified 4 Cylinders will run a 30 lap feature. The Wild West show featuring the Walls Roofing U Cars and the C Mini Mart stock 4 cylinder cars will run a 25 lap feature. The “Outlaw” Robert Arch has been unstoppable this season at Wake County Speedway ,can the bad fast machine of Gault stop his domination this Friday night? The Dirt Cheap Sand and Gravel Legends will run a 25 lap feature event. Calling all Legend drivers on the east coast,points for the National Championship plus 20 car fields,run with the best young guns and veterans on the east coast! The Bandoleros will round out the nights feature events running 15 laps.

Wake County news and notes from Thunder Tuesday Free Practice. Nascar Late Model driver Donald Brace,Apex was shaking down his Time Machine Band Good Music Fast Cars machine,double duty for Donald this weekend. Mark from Loop Rd. Auto Parts was testing 1 of the Cleveland Draft House Ford Fusions of Capps Motorsports. “Atta Boy” Award to Mark,he looked good at the bullring during practice. The Mt.Dew Kick Start Mod 4′s Randy Ayers was also turning quick laps at the 1/4 bullring in his Ford Fusion. The Dirt Cheap Sand and Gravel Legend drivers including Stephen Ford,Quality Lightening Protection Hotrod,Chis Stancil,Raleigh and Will Bristle getting ready for Friday night. Expect as many as 5 more Late Models this week,the phone’s been ringing about the $3000 to win 100 lap Supershow coming up September 6,2013. Late Model drivers must run the next 2 nights to be eligible for the big money show. Bradley McCaskill has a new power plant for his machine and Dennis Sargent has a new motor for his Dennis Sargent Law Firm Hotrod. Let’s fill the infield!

Dillon Spain Sweeps Legendary Legends At Wake County Speedway

A beautiful Carolina evening,6 divisions of race cars,5 feature events and the best stars and cars of the region greeted a great crowd of fans   Friday night at the New Wake County Speedway. Dillon Spain won both Legend features to highlight the action packed evening.Jonathan Kornegy, Robert “The Outlaw” Arch and Cade Lambert also picked up feature wins.

Young Gun Dillon Spain increased his point lead in the Dirt Cheap Sand and Gravel Legends points race roaring to victory in both 25 lap features. In the first race of the evening,Spain turned back Fayetteville’s Billy Gomez,Jr. to secure the victory. Billy Hall, Kenneth Tripp, Brenton Irving and Stephen Ford rounded out the top 6 positions when the checkered flag waved. Dillon thanked his team,family and fans from victory lane.

The Wilson Septic and Backhoe Bandoleros division continues to grow and Cade Lambert continued his impressive 2013 season with a trip to victory lane. Lambert held off hard charging Hunter Hansen, Clayton and his Rockside Tire Bando for the “W”. Ethan Johnson had a strong run to finish in 3rd place with car numbers #24 and #81   rounding out the top 5 positions.

The Aviator Brewery Late Model winner was Jonathan Kornegy. Kornegy’s car really came to life during the middle stages of the 60 lap feature event. Kornegy’s first 2013 Wake County Speedway victory was sweet after early season woe’s at America’s Favorite Bullring. The “Outlaw” Robert Arch, pulling double duty, had a great early run before coming home in 2nd place. Garner veteran, Todd Langdon drove his PowerTek Washing, State Farm,Shear Shack Ford   to a 3rd place finish followed by Fuquay-Varina speedster Lizzy Smith and newcomer, Ben Peterson. Thanks for towing to run with us Ben.

Huge $3000 to win 100 lap Aviator Brewery Late Model Showdown on Fan Appreciation Night September 6,2013. The Walls Roofing/C-Mini-Mart Feature event was an action packed event from the drop of the green flag. The “Outlaw” Robert Arch has won 9 events this year and a bounty on him hasn’t slowed his quick   Honda down this season. Chris Gault and his Murray Tire special tried to end Arch’s win steak and was bad fast early but at the end of 25 laps,Arch was standing in victory lane. Justin Fussell was the winner of the C-Mini Mart race within a race with a fine 3rd place finish. Jeremy Ottaway and Duane Godwin rounded out the top 5 finishers in the 25 lap feature event.

The second Legendary Legend event winner,Dillon Spain held off Brenton Irving,Kenneth Tripp,Billy Hall,Billy Gomez and Stephen Ford in the nightcap to close out the evening of up close, in your face action from America’s Favorite Bullring Wake County Speedway. The featured division this coming Friday will be the Dirt Cheap Sand and Gravel U-Car drivers running twin 20 lap features. The C-Mini-Mart Mayhem Stock 4 drivers will run with the U-Cars in the combo event. The Rockside Tires Legends 25 lap feature event and the Custom Brick and Supply Bandolero’s will round out the evening.

Wake County Speedway news and notes; Bounty Time: the “Outlaw” Robert Arch has been unstoppable in the Dirt Cheap U-Car division this season and a $100.00 bonus has been added to the driver who can stop his domination. B&E Motorsports and driver Alex Fleming have had a parting of the ways; Congrats to the Sykes Family preparing for their 1st child,the LMSC is for sale. Look for Alex Fleming to wheel his U-Car Friday night. A huge field of Legend drivers are expected as Wake County Speedway is a short tow for the Summer Shootout Series drivers.

The finest stars and cars of the New Wake County Speedway were ready to roar last night but Mother Nature had plans of her own. Thank you fans, drivers and car owners who
came out last night for some up close, in your face, racing excitement! Please hold on to those ticket stubs and wrist bands because they will be good for admission in 2 weeks on July 12,2013.A huge show is on tap with the Aviator Brewing Late Models, the Mt. Dew Kickstart Modified 4 Cylinders, the Dirt Cheap U-Cars, C-Mini-Mart Mayhem Four Cylinders Combo feature, the Rockside Tire Legends and the Custom Brick and Supply Bandolero’s.

This week’s “Atta Boy” Award goes to the fans and the track staff who tried hard to get the track dried but the element of time just wasn’t on our side. We will line them up and go again in 2 weeks.

The finest stars and cars of the tri-state region will roar into the New Wake County Speedway this Friday night June 28,2013 for another evening of racing excitement. 5 divisions will run with the Aviator Brewing Late Models headlining the action running twin 30 lap feature events. The Rockside Tire Legends will be running a 25 lap feature and these drivers put on a whale of a show two weeks ago. The Dirt Cheap U-Cars and the C-Mini-Mart Mayhem drivers will run a 25 lap combo feature at America’s Favorite Bullring. The Custom Brick and Supply Bandolero’s will round out the action packed evening at the 1/4 mile speedplant.

Wake County Speedway news and notes;Brandon Setzer,Hickory and Raleigh driver Joe Heigl had the fans on their feet during the last Aviator Brewing Late Model event.Setzer grabbed the win holding off the Performance Auto Body ride of Heigl to nail his first Wake County Speedway win. The wiley veteran,Heigl is loaded for bear and looking to end Setzers’ win steak this coming Friday night!

The Rockside Tire Legends event was a wild affair up front and the roll/flip of Dillion Spain gave the young gun a extra week to repair his machine and the car was in Charlotte the Monday after race getting repaired.Stephen Ford looked great in his debut in his Quality Lightning Protection Legend.

Young Gun Hunter Hansen came out of the box strong in his brand new Rockside Tire Bandolero and will be a man on a mission this coming Friday night. Hansen,who comes from a long line of racers has the burn in his belly and wants that checkered flag bad.Look for Hansen to be in the mix all race long.

Robert Arch has an impressive 2013 season going on at Wake County Speedway;he’s won every feature this year in the Dirt Cheap U-Car division.Looks like we need a Bounty-hunter to hunt down Robert “The Outlaw” Arch!

Please Pray for the Simpkins Family,we lost a family member yesterday,Cathy Simpkins. I’ll fondly remember Cathy kicking butt in the womens’ Powder Puff race. Godspeed Cathy Simpkins.
