The night got off to a slower start than usual with the Tarwheel Model A Club bringing their Model A’s out to the track for two Parade laps. Once this was completed, the Dirt Cheap Sand, Rock, and Mulch Ucars started with Robert Arch on the pole in his F1 with Michael Strickland outside with his S9. The green flag waved and Arch quickly took the lead with Strickland giving chase. The race went green the entire way with Robert Arch claiming the win in his #F1 Honda. Michael Strickland brought the S9 Saturn home in 2nd place. Drew “The Goat Man” Starling claimed 3rd in his #54 Chevy. [Read more...]
