What a night at the 1/4 mile bullring Wake County Speedway. This is the first time I a have raced this track in a Super Late Model. Everyone told me the bullring was a drivers track, and I can tell you they are right. I had a great car, but still had to wheel it. I had a blast, and cant wait to do it again.
I had the opportunity to race with some of the veterans in the Super Late Model world. We struggled during practice, but the car came around for race day. I scored the outside pole for qualifying, and with the re-draw we started 4th. Unfortunately with four laps to go, the leaders tangled going into turn four. There was a small hole that me and the forth place car decided to squeeze through. But the hole was not big enough for both of us. We ended the night with a 6th place finish.
I have to thank all the people and Company's that make this happen for me.
