WAKE COUNTRY SPEEDWAY FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT
Fan Fest at America’s Favorite Bullring
Raleigh, North Carolina – Wake County Speedway (WCS) is celebrating fan appreciation night Friday, August 23. Gates open at 6pm. The WCS is located at 2109 Simpkins Road in Raleigh.
Fan appreciation festivities include experiencing the race cars up close while getting autographs and pictures from drivers on the track, giveaways of apparel, merchandise and other items, meet and greet with the track mascot and more.
At WCS, fans can also enjoy food from concessions and five different categories of racing including:
· Late Models
· Modified 4 Cylinders
The evening’s schedule includes:
· 6pm- Gates Open
· 7pm Drivers practice
· 8pm- Qualifying and heat races
· 8:30pm- Main event racing
Tickets are $5/child (ages 6-11), $12/adult, and children under 5 are free.
The Wake Country Speedway is a recently renovated local race track providing opportunities for upcoming drivers to make a name for themselves while providing great entertainment for racing fans. Fan Appreciation Night is a once a year event at America’s favorite bullring and a highlight of the local racing season.
